The Food Pantry opened its doors in January 2002 from the basement of The Rosendale Cafe on Main Street in Rosendale. Owners Marc and Susan Morganstern were instrumental in generously donating this space and helping us clear an area we called home for the next three years.
Our current home at 45 James Street, Rosendale, is a product of the Eagle Scout projects of Alex Hornbeck and Scott Gerhart.
Guiding Principles
There is no line between givers and receivers; everyone occupies both of these roles at different times in their lives.
We don't believe in barriers.
Excessive paperwork is not required to gain access to the pantry's services.
Confidentiality is guaranteed.
Special diet requests are honored.
Asking for help need not be a humiliating experience.

The Rosendale Food Pantry is a completely community supported organization. It has no affiliation with any other organization.
